Nation-Building

Greetings! I'm looking in from Cairo, a city which, were it not so interesting, I think I would truly despise. On to my reason for posting, however: Barack Obama's Knox College commencement address , found via America Abroad : "And as people around the world began to hear the tale of the lowly colonists who overthrew an empire for the sake of an idea, they started to come.
