Polls, get your red hot polls...

Via the O-blog, we've got a bunch of poll numbers. The national polls continue to be all over the place (as we should expect them to be), and the latest WaPo national poll has Dean on top:
Today 9/13 Change
Dean 17% 14 +3
Gephardt 13 14 -1
Clark 12 6 +6
Kerry 10 14 -4
Lieberman 9 22 -13
Braun 6 4 +2
Sharpton 4 5 -1
Edwards 3 3 =
Kucinich 2 2 =

Can we just go ahead and say that Lieberman's candidacy is dead? Sorry TNR but your horse isn't going to finish this race. National polling is only valuable when considering name recognition, and that's why the results vary so much. So with that in mind, the only polls that matter right now are the ones taken in the early primary states. The latest quarterly Granite State poll has Dean kicking some serious ass:
Dean 30 (16)
Kerry 17 (18)
Clark 10 (3)
Lieberman 6 (11)
Edwards 5 (2)
Gephardt 5 (3)

And in Iowa, every single poll shows us leading or tied for the lead. The latest Quad-Cities poll shows Dean at the top of the pack:
Dean 23%
Gephardt 20%
Kerry 17%
*everyone else in single digits

Right now DFA is focusing a lot of resources into Iowa and New Hampshire. We can win both of those states and go into Super Tuesday with a ton of momentum. DFA has put out a call for volunteers to pound the pavement in Iowa and New Hampshire. Sign up by clicking here. I've pledged to go to Iowa in November and January. Will you join me?
Aside from those two states, it's important that we all pledge to attend the caucuses in our home states. This campaign is going to be won by those of us who are willing to dedicate a few hours next Spring to winning our home states. You can take the pledge by clicking here. I am going to everything in my power to ensure that we deliver Texas to Howard Dean in the primaries. Who'll join me in making a similar pledge? If every Dean National signed up, we could gaurantee several thousand Dean delegates to our state conventions. Remember we have the power to win this election and take our country back. This is how it's done. Sign the pledge today, sign up your friends and family, and let's do this.
Also, in half an hour Joe Trippi is holding a conference call to announce the official fundraising numbers for the third quarter. I'm going to sit in on the call, and as soon as I have the info I'll pass it along. Anyone want to venture a guess as to where we'll end up?
