Odd Coincidence

It just dawned on me that shortly after we hit about 60,000 donors in a quarter, we're gonna see 60,000 MeetUpers. So I went back and checked the first quarter when we had about 14,000 donors. There were about 12,000 in MeetUp.

It seems that MeetUp is always (well, twice) a little bit behind the total donor base for the Quarter.

If this correlation holds and MeetUp keeps growing like it has, the number of donors in Q3 will be staggering.

Or: how I stopped worrying and learned to support the spread of democracy in the Middle East. Hello, Dean Nation! The incomparable Aziz P. has kindly invited me to post here in addition to my usual perches at Liberals Against Terrorism and Chez Nadezhda . For that, I thank him, and I hope that I do him credit.
